| Westwind Preparatory Academy |
Westwind Prep Academy (WPA), an International Baccalaureate World School, is a college prep high school established in 1998. WPA is a nonprofit privately owned organization. Students who are residents of Arizona can attend for free because the state of Arizona pays the cost of tuition. Students who are residents of another state or country must pay tuition to attend. This past year, students from 13 different countries attend WPA. As a small school, we balance academic accountability with care and concern for students. Both academics and extra curricular activities revolve around our commitment to refinement of thought and development of character.

WPA is accredited by AdvancED/NCA-CASI. Alumni have received Gates Millenium Scholarships, Regents Scholarships, Tuition Waivers and Athletic Scholarships. Each year, our graduates have gone on to colleges and universities all over the world, including the following:

Students from countries such as Germany, China, Bosnia, Turkey, France, and Montenegro have attended Westwind Prep International and have enjoyed their educational experience with us. WPI offers boarding for students attending WPI.
At WPI we are focused on delivering the mission to provide young men and women with a solid educational foundation in a context of care and concern. Our mission encompasses more than just academics. Part of our mission is to help students mature physically and socially. We recognize that many of our students will become
leaders; and we want them to have a solid foundation before going on to college.

Westwind Community Schools offers your son or daughter the proven track record of a college prep high school with rigorous and relevant curriculum, delivered through active engagement in the classroom. For over a decade, we have traditionally prepared our students for higher education, with graduates from our flagship school, Westwind Prep on Northern, receiving such awards as the Gates Millennium Scholarship, National Merit Scholarships, athletic scholarships at Division One Universities, as well as tuition waivers to Arizona’s junior colleges and universities. Westwind competes against other AIA schools in athletics. |
